Amecon 2012





So much delay #sob
I've finally finished all the photos from Ame and London so the free time finally presented itself :']

Thursday



The thursday fell on my 21st so honestly it was the best day ever being able to see everyone
After arriving and checking myself in I helped/watched DDR-UK set up. The table I was sat on ended up being carried to the other side of the room and dumped while I was on the phone Dx



My first shoot of the weekend was with *Ruxtano in his zombie Kamina






I then returned to the Games room and took ~WingedWalrus for a shoot in her gorgeous Meltdown Rin cosplay
With lots of derp.



On our way back we found ~MikeJenks, ~WelcomeToMyWorldVXI and ~felixize and their pizza

That evening was spent in the bar, seeing everyone and getting tipsy on birthday drinks :']





Nightmare before Christmas.



We played a few rounds of pool. Some more drunk than others.
Then the bar closed so we vacated outside with Foxy







And then lots of this happened.

There was a chase between Carlo and Cameron.
We found them both in a hedge later.

Friday

Dem breakfasts
It was ridiculously hot straight off from the morning. My initial plan had been to wear my Skyknight Zelda cosplay but the heat was far to much so I opted for something breezier.



A week after Amecon I saw the right hand image appear on my fb feed. Lol'd at the pose.
Then realised. It was me ;_;

I also drew an Owl on the whiteboard in Lauren's block, she made some adjustments.






I did a bunch of shoots in the morning including another one for *Ruxtano this time as Nero




Followed by a shoot for ~xLulux's Terra






Then stopped for lunch - there was a little shop in the student union who sold little tubs of strawberries for cheap
I lived off them the entire weekend



We then moved on to shoot ~WelcomeToMyWorldVXI's Korra and ~MiniPlum's Game of Throne's costume.
We were joined by ~Lastordersuk [Amon] mid way.














That evening I did a shoot for the PS3 group

Saturday



My phone looks like a brick Horyshiz
Shoots and more shoots for the morning~






I loved this shoot. I've always had a thing for Howl's Moving Castle
Dream shoot achieved :']

This was followed by a shoot with the Twilight Princess Group in the Keele Hall's grounds






I then rushed back to my room to get changed into Sayaka, ~felixize and ~WelcomeToMyWorldVXI came and met me as I was just finishing off and we headed out together.

Someone gave Cameron a camera.
A little grasshopper found refuge on Ashley's collar





The heels were reallllllyyyy killing my feet ;A;
We did a small shoot with =Blasteh



During which I seemed to have completely forgotten how to pose
Or not derp. Or not look awkward as fffffff





Afterwards I moved on to shoot ~whonose8472's amazing Gadot and *ManticoreEX







Sunday



Started the morning off with a fabulous breakfast and a shoot with *XMoonLilyX's child England.



Followed by the Panty and Stocking group and *ManticoreEX






Then I rushed back to the room to tan up with ~felixize
Once ready we parted ways while I did a quick shoot with ~Destinys-spirits's Luka







Then the avatardness began
There was a slight threat of rain and we had a mini downpour during which Lauren and I huddled under umbrellas to stop the tan slipping off Dx





Amon demonstrated his blood bending capabilities



and then was promptly forgotten.



There was a load of filming done - which can be seen in Nert's videos from the event

I did some 3D shoots with Nert borrowing Nocturnal Blossom's water fans



Then afterwards volunteered to do some real water bending.



The water bending started before we started shooting when the first balloon exploded soaking us both in blue dye.



The first set was a watersnake - which I managed to pop fairly early into the shoot somehow Dx
As it was leaking out the very last part shot up due to some trapped air[?] / water to the face.



The next set were little orbs.
Which were popped using a pin.



For some reason I had mixed Nert's comment on how durable the snake balloons were with the orbs.
So it popped immediately and scared the tan off me.
We tried a couple more times where I tried to school my expression a bit better - but it's surprisingly very difficult to not freak out when a high pressured orb of water explodes in your face






and then we moved onto much larger ones.





Needless to say by the end of it I was soaked - but surprisingly still tanned



I then did my final shoot of the weekend with ~Freyarule








That evening we raved - had an awesome time
Then some unfortunate things happened and the night was spent in hospital
But then it wouldn't be a convention if we didn't visit the Hospital at least once ;]
