It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

My Amecon Journal will follow right after this one
I promise XD

I went to Freshfields with ~Silzer ~TheLittleDetails
and *AkraruPhotography for a mini shoot. Oringally they were meant
to be a few cosplayers but by the time the date swung by I was
the only one confirmed to go XD;;;

We shot Link and I took Allens third uniform for
the beginning as a request from ~TheLittleDetails
In total I have over 2000 images - hence why this journal
has taken me so long to produce - especially since I had
to work on Ame outfits~

Bahhh -- hardcore fans will notice my scar was
drawn on the wrong eye XD;;
It was hell to change into him on site, and I just had to guess
when the time came to draw it on. Any shots I upload from this shoot
I will attempt to edit it onto the correct eye. But for this journal
all shots are as they were taken. Sorry about that XD;

After this we said goodbye to Rick and then I changed
into Link and we ventured much further into the park

he literally slid down - Silzer followed him immediately
and was then followed by Laura. They all were rather muddy
by the end of the shoot XD

Then we found a very steep sand dune and proceeded to 'climb' it

Phil was climbing up with the aid of his mono-pod 8D

After the steep climb we looked over the other side of the dune
- it was practically a flat walk up oTL

We headed back after a few shots at the top
since it was getting pretty late - and the forest
isn't exactly lit. By the time we got back to the
front of the park it was night XD

We returned to Liverpool and Laura and I stayed the
night at Silzers before heading back to Manchester the following evening
