I've been sewing like a hermit [?] while juggling my Macmillan book award entry

London MCM Expo October 2011

Friday

I actually arrived on the thursday for once as ~NavigatorxNami done goofed and got the event mixed up with normal cons
but it was rather relaxing - there was no one around so we just rested after the train journey and had an awesome dinner <3

This could only be done in a group - a group of amazingggly beautiful ladies.

Dresses -- are not my strong point - heels - I never wear them - thosethingswerehuge

Regardless I enjoyed the group and the shoots we had :']

Return of conveniently placed Mr Fabulous



That night I headed into London with a large bunch of people hosted by Ben and Lettie for a chinese and Pk
I had originally intended to change - the idea of travelling through London in that outfit still is ... insane XD;
But I was talked into it on the account of awesome PK photos so I donned a jacket and braved the underground
The reaction was actually ok - we got a few expected responses - but some people actually started conversations
with us about the event and sewing etc =]





These machines were like a more extreme example of my journal posts...

Saturday






Started the day off shooting ~PlummerC1 and ~MikeJenks in their Resident Evil cosplays







Cameron doubled as a random zombie for us



he really got into the role...



I then moved outside to shoot ~CharlieDoryRose, ~Nightrain82 and ~Kerhys

I then wandered back to the other side of the event and found ~ToobaGravy
who offered to take some photos of my highly failable Lag





I fully intend to remake that jacket - it was the biggest rush job in my life

I then shot *WelcomeToMyWorldVXI's Legend of Zelda group
They all behaved wonderfully so I actually have no derps
..derp =[



That evening was ~kagen-no-tsuki's birthday meal





much fun was had comparing Hester's gifts with Ben's ... face



The people were amazing and we enjoyed ourselves
The service - wasn't so great =/ I expected it to be better considering the prices and fancy layout
They messed up my order completely - then argued with me when I told them I hadn't ordered it :l
They forgot Hester's meal entirely - we were kept waiting for about an hour
One of the pasta dishes was so small it was like a child's portion and they undercooked Charlie's chicken

Naturally we complained - they sent out a cheese cake to Hester as an apology
Hester can't eat cheesecake - Wahey XD;





On the plus side
we had moustaches and monocles





Spent the night in the PTI playing a dare game of some sort
I barely even remember XD;

Sunday






I then finally managed to do a shoot with ~felixize in her Vriska outfit with *WelcomeToMyWorldVXI





Found =Blasteh and Chi - we wandered to the other end again







Ciaran's man purse complemented his french.









Then returned inside, wandered and shopped - just as the event was finishing up I did a quick shoot for Aaron

We vanished to pizza hut for the evening meal then returned to the PTI for last night fun tiems







I tried to get a group shot of all the boys using Matts zoom lens - I had to back up all the way into the lift itself
to actually fit everyone in. Just as the camera finally had focused the lift doors shut on me and I ended up on the
6th floor XD;



Thus concludes London MCM Expo - I am now finally UP TO DATE with my journals
