London May 2012 - Photo Journal

London MCM Expo May 2012

Not much to actually report about in this - a few images.
I didn't use my camera as much - especially as saturday I had facepaints and a crazy costume XD

Friday

Drove down with PlummerC1 and Hollie
Got stuck in some MAJOR traffic on the approach which set us back nearly an hour
Finally arrived - checked into aloft - SO NICE <3
Changed into Saiko and wandered through the event



Met up at Foxes and had some food before heading outside for a fast bakuman shoot





We then discussed who needed painting and headed back to our room to prep Ciaran and Carlo
It, er gets a bit weird from here XD;







THEY HAD BOXERS ON I JUST COVERED IT AS AN EXTRA MEASURE
and Ciaran's boxers went a bit see-through in the shower XD;

They had a manry shaving session together while the rest of us stood awkwardly watching through the glass.



Carlo only had one pair of boxers so he had to hairdry himself before we started



In total it took us about 3 hours I think to fully paint Zombi-zone's Kamina tattoos and Ciarans Dragon
Tats for Gan Ning. I had felixize helping me out.



Saturday




Prepared myself for the worst. Suited up and went into the heat.



I actually found it pretty bearable - and spent a good 2/3 hours outside in the sun.



I randomly entered the masquerade - it wasn't something I had originally planned to do so I made it up as I went along.
Only realising backstage that this was my first time entering solo at London/ a very long time. gnireyur oTL

Grabbed some photos afterwards which were inadvertently bombed by felixize's random feather. XD
Headed back to my room for a nice cold shower but found it occupied by Carlo. Afterwards we headed back out and ate dinner in one of the restaurants by Foxes



Then we moved on to the Novotel bar - where we convinced a slightly tipsy [?] Ashley that it was possible to suck the lime out of a bottle.



It was great fun for us all until she very nearly managed it. Then shit got real and we were all trying XD



Leon. Like a baus.

Sunday

Woke up a bit late and rushed to the Street Fighter VS Tekken Shoot.







Some weird stuff happened here and there.



Then I did some mini shoots with Ciaran, Carlo, Fran and Cameron





We went to visit mystcb at the DDR stand, Ciaran and Carlo had a match off and ended up promoting some things for Madcats along with Fran.



I won a black rock shooter set of cards in the tombola :']
I then went for a wander and bumped into a few more people I hadn't seen in ages =]
and also got dragged over to pose with the Sith Lord - then I awkwardly danced for Dan - I can't recall XD;



I shot Rainbow-Spex in his trance Kuja costume

Hahaha - I kid, he's a sweetie XD



Lots of hands and photoshopping to achieve the poses

Changed the interior of the expo to pink B]



DAT L COSPLAYER. FF COULDN'T EVEN GET THE SHIRT RIGHT.
Then hung around the front of expo for a bit chatting to Nert and Chi



Look at how fast that escalated. :l
I bumped into Izzy on my way back to my room to change that evening and she took a few shots of my failNia.

That evening a police car drove over to us and Mike was in the back seat and we all had the same thought.
turned out he was assisting them in a search for a missing person. We honestly thought we were going to have to pay bail. XD;

May was awesome overall! I have my JapanExpo journal to come and the FF13 Shoot to!
